St. Augustine’s Partners with
Youth Guidance and Feed the Lambs
to help school kids in need!
Founded here in 1973, Youth Guidance provides local youth with limited resources, the daily meals, support from caring mentors, and access to a safe place after school and in the summers. Students participate in one-on-one and group mentoring programs that teach life skills like culinary arts, bicycle repair, sewing, boat mechanics, sports and more. Visit Youth Guidance>
Feed the Lambs is an awesome after-school program offering recreation, education, mentorship and summer camp at no cost, for underprivileged children who would otherwise be unable to obtain these services in IRC. They help a lot of kids and do it on a pretty small budget. Visit Feed the Lambs>
Both organizations need our help filling their students’
Backpacks with Supplies for the coming year!
Here’s where you come in …
We have set up St. Augustine School Backpack Roundup on Amazon.com.
There you can buy one $8 pack of glue, or $200 worth of calculators to help fill these kids backpacks. There’s a right-sized donation for all who want to participate. As selections are made from the wishlist, those items will be fulfilled and disappear. We encourage you to reach high on the list to the most expensive items, leaving a wide range of options for others who want to contribute less. In the end, it’s the kids that win!

Please resist the urge to shop at a local store instead. Schools are very specific about what the kids are supposed to have. As you complete your purchase, the church mailing address will pop up to send your items to our Backpack Program. You can add a note if you’d like to let us know who it is from.
This is an equal opportunity for local parishioners, and those who have traveled north for the summer, to give back to our community and return the blessings that we have so richly received.
Deadline for Ordering is Saturday, July 9.

Note: When you log on it will allow you to purchase under your own Amazon account or make an OTP (One Time Purchase). If you do the OTP, it will simply email you a pass code to allow you to move forward and enter your billing information.
